The majority of runs favour the intermediate skier and there are plenty of runs to challenge skiers of other abilities, this family friendly resort has plenty of ski schools and is a great all rounder. There is great apres ski here and plenty winter activities including tobogganing, ice skating and sleigh riding. Bad Gastein’s superb ski conditions made it the choice venue for the 2009 Red Bull Playstreets Championship.

Summer: The Gastein Valley has plenty to offer the summer visitor. Besides all the spa facilities there is a challenging 18-hole golf course, tennis and paragliding on offer.
